Un-face-palm

So BBB challenged bloggers to share with him moments of asshattery we've experienced in the xpac thus far. Well, I haven't experienced much (surprisingly!), but I have experienced a "people can be awesome out of nowhere” moment, just yesterday!

I was on my priest, questing in the Howling Fjord, when I saw a Cobolt Ore mining node. I headed over to it, get one hit and accidentally aggro 2 mobs. Node is still there, but I'm fighting mobs. I see a gnome warrior ride up, so I blow Psychic Scream and start mining frantically. He types into /s to let me know he wasn't going to gank it. I'm amazed but now I have to deal with approximately 5 mobs since the ones I feared aggroed others. He takes them all down very quickly (nerf warriors), I buff him with Fort, IDS, and Shadow Protection, and present the rest of the node to him.

When he rode up to me I never expected that, I assumed he would just start mining away. People can sometimes surprise you. I wish I would have taken down his name/guild, but I didn't. Here's to you unknown Gnome Warrior on Cenarion Circle.
